Yasser brings 25 years of investments and financial management experience to the Rakiza team. He has delivered significant infrastructure and development projects across the MENA region, in addition to working in regulated financial services environments in both London and Dubai. In a previous role, he executed direct investment projects of over USD 2 billion in the emerging markets. He also led landmark PPP and M&A deals in the utilities and resources sectors, totaling USD $11 billion in value. Yasser started his career at Ernst & Young London, working in the Energy and Utilities M&A team, and after a successful ten years, left EY as a Director in 2008 to join Dubai World. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and has graduate degrees from both Harvard University (Master’s in International Relations) and the University of Oxford (Master’s in History).
